Stars Place 16th in Sportico Franchise Valuations

Sportico has released its 2024-25 team valuations rankings for all 32 NHL franchises. Keeping in mind that the data is not gospel -- methodologies can vary from one list another -- there are some interesting rankings.

The Dallas Stars have climbed four spots from last year to this year's rankings. Dallas came in 16th for the 2024-25 list at $1.65 billion; a 49 percent valuation increase since last year.

The top 10 for 2024-25 per Sportico:

1 Toronto Maple Leafs $3.66 billion 38%
2 New York Rangers $3.25 billion 33%
3 Montreal Canadiens $2.93 billion 29%
4 Boston Bruins $2.67 billion 50%
5+1 Los Angeles Kings $2.5 billion 45%
6-2 Chicago Blackhawks $2.45 billion 33%
7+1 Edmonton Oilers $2.4 billion 51%
8-1 Philadelphia Flyers $2.29 billion 35%
9 Washington Capitals $1.86 billion 31%
10 Detroit Red Wings $1.85 billion 35%

The bottom five:

29-2 Ottawa Senators $1.14 billion 20%
30 Buffalo Sabres $1.13 billion 26%
31-3 Winnipeg Jets $1.1 billion 19%
