Coming off a 6-4 win over Philadelphia at Climate Pledge Arena, the Seattle Kraken (3-2-0) will try to deal the red-hot Calgary Flames (4-0-0) their first loss of the 2024-25 season on Saturday night.
One of the main reasons why Seattle replaced Dave Hakstol as head coach with Dan Blysma was to try to add more offensive attack into the systems. So far, apart from the shutout loss to Dallas last Sunday, it has worked.
Eighteen different Kraken players have notched at least one point over the season's first five matches. Meanwhile, four players -- Jared McCann (3g, 4g), Jordan Eberle (4g, 2a), Ryker Evans (1g, 3a) and Andre Burakovsky (0g, 4a)-- have compiled four or more points to date.
On the injury front, key defenseman Vince Dunn (1g, 2a in four games played) is out for Saturday's game. In Dunn's place, Josh Mahura will be paired with Adam Larsson,
