...And then there was one. The Winnipeg Jets are now the only remaining undefeated in regulation or beyond team in the NHL. On Saturday night, the Seattle Kraken (4-2-0) dealt the Calgary Flames their first loss of the new season. Kraken captain Jordan Eberle secured 2-1 the win with the game-winning goal at the 48-second mark of sudden death overtime on Saturday night at Climate Pledge Arena.

Brandon Montour was stopped initially after pouncing on a turnover but then fed trailer Eberle for his fifth goal of the season to end the game. Midway through regulation, Chandler Stephenson ripped home a power play one-timer from the top of the right circle off a nice cross-ice feed from Jared McCann. Meanwhile, the Kraken held Calgary to just 21 shots for the game. Joey Daccord turned aside 20 include several testers.

Game by game so far, you can see the belief starting to build on Dan Bylsma's team. This is a hard-working club that will step up to bite any club that takes them too lightly. Other than the shutout loss in Dallas last weekend -- and even that was just a 2-0 game -- Seattle has been giving their opponents fits with the puck pressure and opportunistic strikes offensively.

Next up is a major test for the Kraken. The Colorado Avalanche might be off to just a 1-4-0 start but it's still a stacked team that will be a huge challenge.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!
