There is a huge PR game going on here. And it is on both sides.
Yes, the Bolys haven't handled this well, but Stamkos' side is also helping that along quite a bit and making it very known how many other teams are interested.
Today, expect to hear the "One year deal" elsewhere mantra. There are a ton of places that would sign Stankos to a 1 year or even 2 or 3 year deal... Today alone, I've already heard NJ, Chicago, Florida....
The only thing Tampa and Stamkos both know is that he is very happy in Tampa and he deeply wants to retire a Bolt.
