The final day -- championship game and consolation game -- of the 2024 Flyers Alumni Fantasy Camp is today at the Class of 1923 Arena. Last night, we had a 10th camp anniversary celebration at the Wells Fargo Center. We went in through the players' entrance (something I certainly do not get to do while at work during the season), had an awesome dinner at Adrian, and a Hot Stove session with Patrick Sharp, John LeClair, Paul Holmgren and Mark Recchi answering questions from camp attendees.
When I returned to the camp hotel, I headed straight back to my room to record Monday's edition of Flyers Daily with Jason Myrtetus. Come tomorrow, I am back on a regular writing and blogging schedule.
In this week's edition of Mondays with Meltzer, Jason and I tackle Part 2 of our list of 10 key questions facing the Flyers in 2024-25. In this episode, we talk about what the realistic expectations are for Sean Couturier, the existing 1-to-6 projected defense corps, building off improved unity in the dressing room, John Tortorella's third season as head coach, and setting a benchmark for the next year about what would represent progress in the team's long-term picture.
