Rogers Communications is now EVEN more of the Maple Leafs after buying out Bell's 37.5 per cent share of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment for $4.7 billion...Rogers, the sports/phone company now owns 75% of MLSE, which owns the Leafs, the Raptors, the Argos, the Toronto FC, and don't forget the Marlies...

That puts the evaluation of the group over $10B...and I remember when you could buy a ticket minutes before a Leafs game outside Maple Leaf Gardens for a half-a-dozen Loonies...
