Entering Thursday's game at TD Garden in Boston, Pete DeBoer's Dallas Stars (5-2-0) have a 1-2-0 record on the road as a counterweight to the team's excellent 4-0-0 mark on home ice. That needs to be corrected in upcoming weeks, along with a massive early season struggle on the power play.

The Stars will face a good test on Thursday against the Bruins (3-3-1 overall, 2-1-0 at home). Boston is coming off back-to-back road losses to Utah (2-1) and previously winless Nashville (4-0). Jim Montgomery's Bruins figure to be a hungry team with a sense of urgency as they return to TD Garden to host his former team (6:00 p.m. CDT).

Below is the Stars' starting lineup from Tuesday's game in Buffalo:

21 Jason Robertson - 24 Roope Hintz - 11 Logan Stankoven
27 Mason Marchment - 95 Matt Duchene - 91 Tyler Seguin
14 Jamie Benn - 53 Wyatt Johnston - 63 Evgenii Dadonov
18 Sam Steel - 22 Mavrik Bourque - 15 Colin Blackwell

4 Miro Heiskanen - 3 Matt Dumba
23 Esa Lindell - 5 Nils Lundkvist
55 Thomas Harley - 46 Ilya Lyubushkin

29 Jake Oettinger
[1 Casey DeSmith]

By the third period, Montgomery juggled forward line combinations. The Stars made a late comeback push, cutting a 3-0 deficit to 3-2 before an empty-netter ended the bid to at least equalize the score and force overtime. If the latter-game lines carry over into Thursday, Dallas could feature these combos in Boston:

Robertson - Hintz - Johnston
Marchment - Duchene - Seguin
Benn - Steel - Stankoven
Blackwell- Bourque- Dadonov
