Nate Danielson and Gabriel Seger both have the mantelpiece of vulcanized rubber from their first AHL goal as the Griffins won the first of a 3 in 3 last night. Husso left in the second, still haven’t heard why, but Cossa came in strong and those two goals were all it took. Congrats to both prospects.
Detroit is facing Buffalo in an early game today and we’ve continued ad nauseam on what needs to change. The team got plenty scrappy and Rasmussen now has a “hulking” gif to add to his resume as the big man helped Hughes find a seat after scoring into the empty net.
The team has been badly outplayed in 3 straight wins, and it feels odd to be concerned but the situation is concerning. Today will be either a sign that they’re ready to turn it around in terms of posession, shots for and against or if they’re hoping for another stellar performance in net. Kane is up and running and Raymond is more than ready to throw so pucks in the net. We’ll see what today brings.
