Boston took momentum in the 2nd period of game 2 and has had it since...the Hawks will be very lucky to win the next game. The Bruins are just a better, more complete team.

The dismal pp has more to do with personal and the scheme than it does the coaching and that is more on StanBo or whoever is running the show than it is on Q or Kompon. It is not a coincidence the pp hasn't been the same since Campbell left. We were told almost two years ago that the Campbell trade would allow the Hawks more flexibility and add more pieces to the team. So far it doesn't seem to have happened. This, in my opinion has been the FO's biggest mistake.

As far as adding to this team......it will continue to be on the cheap as the FO waits for prospects to develop to offset big contracts coming from Kane, Toews, Hammer, etc. This will be a full homegrown team within 5 years with an exception or two.

Q will get an extension of at least two years as will Bowman. Kompon will more than likely be let go.....who knows how Q will react. I don't see the team being blown up......along with the compliance buy outs...Bolland, Emery, Stalberg will be gone and depending on the situation so will Bickell and Frolik.

Am I missing something or does coaching not dictate the scheme?

Our Hawks play their best when backs are against the wall! I feel a big turnaround in game 4
- HawkfaninBC

I expected to lose game 3. As bad as we have been if we win game 4 we have home ice again. See I made a funny damn I'm good

No net front presence. No 2nd faceoff option. No QB.

Clueless? He produced enough for a Calder nomination.

Ya play with who brung ya.

Whoop Dee Doo...the Hawks should have brought in someone to help the top 6 and had Saad play a more support role...

Hawks need to win just one game in Boston. All is not lost.
- Beaver-Warrior

Exactly! And maybe this little fracas at the end will wake a few guys up. Shaw got in a nice who there on Marchand on the ice.

It's the wrong personnel and the scheme.

Hat tip to the Bruins...

Well earned win. Better team to this point.

But's it's better than waitin' for the draft.

So be it...

Just an extension of Game 2...one team bigger, stronger, smarter, tougher. The writing is on the wall...get ready for the reality to set in.

Marchand was holding on dear life. He wanted no real part of Shaw.

And judging by tonight's effort, do you see that happening on Wednesday? I didn't see anything tonight that gives me any hope for a better outcome in game 4. I'm not trying to be an ass, but what did you see tonight that you would say was a positive going into the next game.

Why does anyone on the Hawks even bother centering the puck anymore? There's never anyone there. Never.
- Ogilthorpe2

My family asked that very question -- they said since we lose them all, why bother putting anyone at the dot. Just go into a defensive mode and hope you can keep them from getting out of the zone.

The scheme needs certain components to be successful like a Campbell type QB.......without it is like trying to shop at Neiman Marcus on a walmart budget.
