What will likely happen is that Q will start Toews with Corky from Life Goes On and the reanimated corpse of Gary Coleman.

Don't even wait until the off-season. Fire Jamie Compon now. Complete garbage.

All one has to do is look at the PP stats with this group since Q took over and was able to institute his scheme to see that his scheme does not work and the head coach has ensured his scheme is being followed -- evidenced by Leddy's drop pass again to Kane that nearly lead to a SH goal.

In addition, no Bickell on the PP (as Philco has been pointing out) -- well, we see the results. Simply pathetic.

The Bickell thing would matter if we could get the puck in the zone and actually fire a shot at the net.....

Say what you will about the loss, but if Toews, Kane and Sharp aren't you're best players you won't win.

When Shaw and Bickell have more of an impact than Toews and Kane something is seriously wrong.

Hopefully the boys bounce back on Wednesday. I'd be happy with a best of 3 with 2 games at home.

You know, I can see a team or even two focusing their efforts on Toews and keeping him off the scoreboard, but it gets pretty hard to fathom that Minnesota, then Detroit, then LA and now Boston have shut him down. This was playoff game number 20 and he has one goal and that came on a PP that bounced in off Jimmy Howard's head. It would be one thing if he was getting a ton of chances, but how many games has he had only 1 or 2 shots on net, and some games none.

Hawks with 1 goal in their last two games. Take out the first period from Saturday night and in the last six periods (including the overtime from Saturday) the Hawks have generated very little offense. If they're not going to go to the net and do it consistently, then this series is a foregone conclusion.

Closing down the middle of the ice and playing the dump in game, while I know is legal, is the same brand that the devils played when they were winning cups. Big time yawn. It lulls you too sleep. You can definitely feel our pain. I'm with you. I was hoping for a really exciting end-to-end chance-after-chance Chi\Pitt series. Would have been as exciting as chi\philly in 2010. Unfortunately playoffs are all about the grinders. They let the grinders hack and wack you whenever you have the puck. Cross checking is legal in playoffs, too

The bruins, check the stats on NHL.COM, are scoring almost as many goals a game as the pens this playoffs. And where this idea that the bruins have not skill and goal scores is REALLY GETTING F ING STUPID. It's a team commitment with the bruins playing all three zones. Maybe if Crosby and Mallon traded that then we could talk.

Did Toews get demoted to the 4th line tonight with Frolik and Kroeger or did those 2 get promoted to the 1st line !!! Jamie Kompon needs to take the red-eye out of town asap !! Quenneville's boy Bolland should be done for this year after tonight..... And Brandon Saad on all the power plays instead of Bickell ????????????? Quenneville is out of his mind !!

Wednesday is a new game - would not be surprised if a different Hawk team came out and won.

Boston is beatable: the aren't scoring, 7 goals in about 12 periods. Totally outplayed the Hawks the past two games, but only scored 4 times - a lot because of Crawford, some because Boston just can't seem to score.

Not adding up moral victories: pointing out that the are very beatable. ANY kind of PP and the hawks could be up 2-1 now.

The problem is a lot of people thought we'd see a different Hawks team tonight . . . we didn't. As for the Bruins not scoring much . . . well, the Hawks are scoring even less, so they don't need to score a ton. On Saturday, they scored 2 goals, but it was enough fro the win. Tonight, they scored 2 goals (could have scored 1) and it was enough for the win. These games are going to be 1-0, 2-1 type games. Unless Crawford can pitch a shoutout on Wednesday, I don't like the Hawks chances. Seriously, that PP is an embarrassment, they are getting killed at the face off dot, and all there offense is on the perimeter with nothing or no one willing to go to the net. They take the puck down below the goal line and center it out front to . . . . nobody, because nobody goes there. Furthermore, another game where are big players, Towes, Kane, Sharp, Bickell did nothing. If the Hawks go down 3-1, they aren't beating Boston three straight. Boston is not Detroit, not even close.
