I thought he was very entertaining and quite funny. Not sure how he's going to go over with Cherry, but most of the time the NHL awards are a dumb, awkward mess. Thought they were very entertaining this year and George did a great job.

The more that I look at Draisaitl and see that his skating is better than what most label it as (see 1:35), the more I want us to pick him... I would not be disappointed at all if we end up with him. My guy is still Reinhart, but if Draisaitl keeps growing on me, that may change.

Was thinking the same about Draisaitl. His skating is not awful. He looks like a stud to me, and so does Bennett. There is literally no big difference between any of the 3 forwards

If things fall the right way with Ekblad going first there is a way TM could pull off getting both Reinhart and Draisaitl. It will cost a bit but if he could pull it off and then next year draft McEichel I would say that's one hell of a way to start your GM career.

Offensively he's got two things we absolutely need, great puck possession ability and a great shot. However with his skating and subpar defence, you have to think his future will be as a winger in the NHL. I won't be disappointed if we take him though.
