It's interesting that Stastny is opting to test the FA waters. The Colorado blogger seemed all but sure that he was going to sign there, but now the tides seem to be shifting.

I actually think he could be a decent 2nd line winger on this team, I didn't see enough of him to get a good gage on him. I wanted him 3 years ago I know he likes to coast at times but I wouldn't mind seeing if he fits in here. Put him on a line with Hodgson and Girgensons

Total pipe dream but would focus on somehow acquiring Logan Couture. Loves Buffalo, would love to play here. We have the assets and cash to make it happen. Doubt San Jose would move him though with the uncertainty of Marleau and Thornton.

Why not really good two way center. Might be a better fit than ROR. This is a big time for Murray to put his stamp on this team. The draft and deadline is when most of the big stuff happens. The deadline is for selling. The draft is for buying.
