Really? Since you want to over pay Free Agents like Callahan and Stastny. What does that get you? 22nd in the league? Out of the major top players available in the 2015 draft.

In regards to your other posts, you need top 4 D that can play big minutes you need more than just 1 stud guy. You need depth and you need specialists that still don't hurt you on the ice. Myers fits that bill. You want immediate change to a roster you don't like, well it doesn't happen, not overnight anyway. There are some decent, good even, pieces on this roster that are just playing out of place. They need to add more top end talent and since that doesn't grow on trees you need to draft them usually speaking at the top of the draft.

Signing a guy like Stastny and another vet like Moulson could potentially knock them out of the top 2 picks which is my point. He started complaining about the rebuild taking longer since we didn't get Glue Boy Callahan.

The point is stay the course build through the draft then add complimentary players through Free Agency when the time is right.

They can go 13-3 with EJ. He doesn't have to carry the team. Seattle won the super bowl and was clearly the best team and Russell threw the least amount of passes of any 16 game starter. They won because of a strong run game and a VERY solid d. We had the second best run game in the league last year and we added Bryce Brown. We had a solid d last year but lacked run stop but we signed Brandon Spikes and drafted Preston Brown. Even when EJ does throw he'll be throwing to Sammy Watkins.

Moulson is the only one I'd be ok with them signing now. The rest can wait till the time is right.

Negative ? The key is patience . Folks need to learn that . Build more assets through high draft picks before you make moves. Kane needs to prove he is not a headcase . Got one coach fired and is already on the outs with the new one . You want that ?
