I'm 35 and every Friday I pay for my old man's food(BTW best dad ever and eff you if you think different). There's a certain respect for thy parents. IMO the younger generation has minimal respect. This isn't a hay old guy routine. This is a hey, I came from depression era grandparents and there's something that's lost with that.

IMO there's a shame in that.

Old school way of life is dwindling and that sucks. One good thing is my 10 yr old is getting an old schooled upbringing so hopefully its not lost.

For those that think fvck DD, he knows not........Best generation of this country came from those morale's.

Evander Kane is IMO on his way to fVck I wish he was on my team.

To get him will cost you minimally 2 1st rd picks. They also need centers.

It's more of a logical thinking along with a really good hunch.

Been dry for 4 days(and the booze was a flowing) and saw a post where a kid got free tickets to the movies because he worked there and parent still had to pay for refreshments.


That bothers me.

I started working in 94 at age 15 and even then i bought my parents food because I needed a ride to and/or from work. Kid's these days IMO have no respect for what their parents do/did for them. What they give up for you is immeasurable.

Again, sorry for the rant. Just hoping the young group that posts take it in and teach it to their kids.

Sign Brooks Orpik - 2/3 year deal to work with young D

Throw 7 Mill at Paul Stastny and Matt Moulson for a little less!

Draft - Reinhart or Bennett

Trade back up into 1st for Tuch

2nd rd - Demko

Possibly a surprise trade - involving Hodgson, Foligno, Stewart and maybe Myers for the right deal?

Should be fun, this isn't your Darcy Regier Sabres anymore!

Hodg on the wing actually helps us because his position no longer becomes redundant with Ennis around.
