Of course . He helped a few get their game back. My comment was just a dig at Miller.

I really do hope he turned it around for good . Seems to be the leader in the locker room (from what has been stated of him). Or at least thats whats been keeping him here.

WE do need a bunch in reserves. some won't make it or will be worth keeping . If we do end up getting Ekblad . we need to keep Myers too.
Would be nice to get Ekblad and one of the top 34 forwards this draft . We need that forward regardless.

I can't imagine us getting rid of Myers unless we get Ekblaf
Esp since it seems pretty obvious that Ehrhoff is gonna be gone at some point

If that's a guy you can identify as your capt, & build around... Go for it.

If the alternative is giving Matt Moulson $6 mill/yr, overpay for the younger guy.

Ok... Assuming Austin & Ruhwedel are the 6 & 7 guys...
That currently leaves us zero talent in Rochester for call-ups
Of, this scenario plays out a few years from now...
But defensemen do take time to develop
We need to address that with this draft
Maybe not in the 1st
But grabbing a couple Dmen for depth in the 2nd & 3rd would be a good idea

And at least 2 in the AHL that can at least be called up here and there to fill in for injuries
