Thanks for the info TGT. I was hoping for a semi stacked AHL roster next year but, understandably, that may not happen. Probably best move for Nils here, although I was hoping to see him play a bit. Does this slide his ELC?

To my knowledge, he hasn't signed an ELC yet with the Rangers. Since he is only 19 years old, if he signs the ELC after his overseas contract expires, it will still be for 3 years and the Rangers don't lose anything. Rangers will lose 1 year of control of the player if he signs the ELC AFTER he turns 22 years old --- then the contract is only for 2 years...
