Was a pretty smart play trying to bank it, goalie just knew what was happening. Move him and Oloffson. Not a fan of VO in the top six right now. Awesome on the PP though

This is the Sabres' first lead in 255:45


This is just the second time in their 14 games that Buffalo has led after one period.

The Sabres beat Philadelphia 6-1 in the third game of the season.


This is only the second time this season the Sabres have had a two-goal lead, matching the aforementioned Philly win.

How they opened the 3rd dumping and chasing. Didn’t work and definitely wasn’t the players decision then they returned to what they were originally doing and it worked until they got a stupid penalty.
