I think they will use Loui's contract as a template and add about 3-4 million depending on term. Pretty well whatever J.P. Barry tell's JB.

No chance they are getting 9-10 million .

Maybe they'll sign for less than Loui gets?

Player issues

1 player in the entire league got more than 8 mil last year and we are going to hand out two 9-10 million contracts to players having mediocre years

Benning always signs RFA’s for less than projected. A strength. His UFA signing suck

Why would they? They haven't even proven they can hang with the elite of the league yet.

Petey should get the Barzal deal 3 x 7 or 6.5

Pettersson skating by himself today . That usually means not ready yet. We get to see Hogs on the top line again today.

Ha, yaaaaa no.

Would trade Gaudette + Sutter for Domi though 2 centers for the price of one

Domi makes Hughes look good at defence

If you’re quinn hughes agent, leading all d in scoring isn’t mediocre. I do agree both will be under ten, way more likely to bridge at this point.

Hughes is a tremendous talent in the other end of the ice but he is an adventure in his own end.

Keep in mind he is a tier two RFA that has no arbitration rights and no one can offer sheet him. I think he also gets a deal of 3x7 . Keep also in mind that it is a pandemic year.

That narrative is so tiring.
You do know it is a NHL/World pandemic not a JB/Canuck pandemic.

Barzal is a better center than Pettersson ,what did he get? Dubois is better than Pettersson what did he get?

I had to laugh when JB said that, like he was sharing some big news with us.

7-8 seems about right.

I would be upset truthfully if it was 8 . He has some flaws in his game and he doesn't deserve top money yet. That's my opinion. He is on pace for 20 goals 40 points this season . Players like that get 5 mil.

Last year he was on pace for 35 goals 85 points. Which type of player is he?

For the record Treliving said it was a pandemic year also the other night

In what way are either better?! Dibois may defend better, no way he has the offensive talent. Barzal may be the best two-way, I don’t see him as better at all though. He’s had his slumps.
