oddly enough it really didn't seem to bother anyone last night, perhaps as takemedrunk was saying the "retaliation" was to prevent him from doing anything productive on the ice... also what I don't get is that it seems McDavid's suspension history wasn't taken into account at all (the fact that 5k is the maximum fine a player can get is a complete joke, even for guys making the league's minimum wage lol)

I guess i can understand the strategy, anytime with Mcdavid off the ice is a big plus for the Habs and i respect the way they played.
If Mcdavid has a history of getting frustrated and making mistakes it could cost the Oilers in the playoffs.

But yeah, it must feel (frank)ing horrible.

Rumors are the curfew is going back to 20h.
