I'm implying Robin had a problem of showing up to the rink drunk as a skunk
- DirtyDan

He will be out of the league in 2 years. How could anyone give him that contract..? Guy is a clown..

What do a Clown and a Drunk have in common?

Well the entire premise of what he's saying is that nobody seems to actually be doing anything other than saying the right things, so in his eyes nobody is doing what he feels is an adequate job. So....

You mean the same league that pays him 5 mill and gave him countless chances to come back. Stuck by him. That league?

You make it sound like the league just awarded him a $5M/year salary as a gift. He earned that deal my man. I bet you don't thank your boss for paying you what you're owed every 2 weeks

The question should be how do I feel about social media? It’s a cesspool I don’t use or subscribe to any aside from the odd you tube music video.

I love how he started all the ranting by trying to help Jack Eichel's situation.

Pleading for the NHL and NHLPA to step in and settle the dispute between team and player yet.... both parties had already been in contact with JAck and the team...... something something If you dont know then ya cant be wrong

If I go out and earn my pay... and then turn around and rant on my company for being this terrible place with many secrets and I tell them I am going to expose your secrets you think they'd keep me?

You REALLY think they wouldn't take my a$$ to court and fire me?

It's literally exactly what he was talking about. That Robin should keep his mouth shut because he's lucky that he's making $5M, as if he didn't bust his ass to earn that contract from Vegas. His contract has (frank)-all to do with whether or not he should be speaking his mind publicly.

Keep showing your ignorance punk. Having his disorder doesn’t make him a liar.
- minivinnie3

yet I responded this to a guy who called him a ''loose canon'' ....... implying people think he's either lying or straight out nuts , I'm just pointing out that he does have an outlying disorder that is well documented.

Well no employer is "taking your ass to court" for exposing secrets about it, unless they're blatantly fabricated.

And if you had earned a guaranteed contract from your employer then they could technically "fire" you, but still be legally obligated to pay you every last penny of that contract unless you were somehow in breach of it.

Speak his mind all he wants but when you try to drag the company you work for through the mud you aren't making it out with your job guy. IDK what fake job you work but in the real world that doesn't work.

His company agreed to pay him every single penny of the contract they both agreed to.

So they can either pay him all of it or buy him out and pay him 2/3 of it for twice the remaining length.

He doesn't work for the NHL

Detriment to the league is probably what they told him on that phone call yesterday. As you can see he has already stop putting out a story every day.

I'm not entirely sure of that, because you keep claiming he's going to be "fired" from a job that provides him with a guaranteed contract

I was relating the situation to the real world....

And if Vegas hadn't given up Fleury for nothing they just might have fired his ass or used him being an idiot to get out of the contract.

The league instantly gave him a talking to so clearly what he did was in the wrong. If that's how the business worked every player would be ranting on twitter about how some coached did something.

No one player is above the league my guy. Not Robin with his mental problems. Not Mcdavid, Not Crosby.

Dudes been sober for 4-5 years now. He came out with his issues and is open about them.

Him calling out the league and being open about it doesn't mean he is a clown. I know fans just want to sit on their couch eating potato chips watching these guys in piece but it doesn't work like that. If you don't like it don't listen.

Uhm if the company you are working for is treating people poorly you speak out.

this "real world" you speak of is outdated and if you want proof get out of that rock you live under and look at all the changes that has been made league wide from people speaking their mind on issues.

That doesn't "clearly" mean he did anything wrong. It means they spoke to him. For all you or I know, they told him they'd create some sort of mental health committee and asked him to the be the player representative. 24hrs of him not saying anything isn't evidence of a single thing, other than that you're assuming things.

And "being an idiot" isn't typically a breach of contract. Unless they can prove that he is blatantly fabricating everything that he's said...there's really not much anyone is going to be able to do. Had Evander Kane been betting on games...that would be something that breaches a morality clause or something similar and is grounds for voiding the deal. Saying mean things about the NHL isn't going to cut it.

There are literally professionals for mental health. If you know you need help get it.

You don't need a committee for every problem a player has.

First of all don't compare to the NHL to some Joe blow company.

Get with the times, people speak out on issues when change needs to happen. As any NHL player has, they worked hard to get there and can speak up when people are being mistreated.

We don't know what the NHL is like behind closed doors.
