Olo did not just become able to pass as I have been mentioning for the last two years. Jack had his best year while playing with Olo and he has kept his head up and passed the puck since he came in the league, similar to how he is helping the two other '70's on his line now except Jack was better and also demanded the puck on his stick more.
There are a few of us who aren't surprised by him and the skills of Thompson while others fixate on Risto. - GilPerreault11
I think that in hindsight it was tough to judge anyone that played with Jack because he was such a controller of play because he had the puck all of the time. That said... I've been really surprised at how good he looks. Not having the ice slanted in one direction has done wonders for so many of the guys.

Do you know something or just having fun? - Slump Buster Stated above, EF on Marek show said getting hot and Dreger on WGR implied a deal may be coming soon with Eichel under knife next week. Deal could be as soon as today

Why should every 8th overall be "great?" And Risto played on a terrible team with little help as the number 1 D against the other team's top talent, and played top minutes for years on the PK, PP, 22-25 minutes a might and got the Sabres a pretty high first, a 2nd and Hagg in a trade return. I'll take it. When you saw Dahlin in two goals last night who looked lost when does he start to get critiqued more and wonder where the greatness is for a a 1st overall? - GilPerreault11
Are you kidding? People all over here and Twitter would trade him in a heart beat.
And it’s a fair conversation. I personally wouldn’t until at least next year but criticism of his play is fair game as it was for the big giant dummy for the last 6 years |

Maybe KA was at the Michigan game to see Brisson last night. Wouldn't that be crazy having Jack's agent's son traded for Jack?

Agreed - I think if there is all this smoke that something is close means that we were the ones that moved off of our potion and not Vegas

Oh, it is pretty quiet compared to the balls being ripped off the 8th overall pick |

It was pretty quiet in year 3 for Ristolainen
He was given the coach/team/age excuses for 5 years by at least half of the fan base.
Dahlin certainly isn’t looking like a #1 overall pick. And I’m not gonna pretend he does in year 5,6,7 if it doesn’t improve |

Yep, I saw that. The little bit I have seen he looks good in college, I'm not sure how good he will be in the pros though.

I will say, one defining difference between a team struggling like hell and an emerging team is the emerging team can play like shat and still pull off a win.
We have not been able to do this for some time |

meatballs is throwing a lot of responsibility on his shoulders this season...i don't think he'd do that unless he was sure that dahlin will further his development |

I wouldn't either. Don't think I would sub anything from my proposal for him, but he's got skill

Wow, good one.
First place I'd look for Samson is your throat. 🙉🙊🙉🙊🙉🙊🗣🗣🗣
I'm an easy target, as I post MY opinion, not some stats/ graphs and evolving hockey...
Still have nick foligno as a $1- .2 million $ guy....
I'd still say he's a 3 or 4 million $ guy...
Keep trying to rain on my parade . 👋 - Boss34
it's fine to post your opinion. It's even better to back up your opinion with tangible information instead of 'tries hard'.

I was a bit worried his issue here for a couple years was motivation. That he plainly didn't care.
That wasn't the issue. Nothing has changed. - QuinnFan
There's no way. The guy was all effort, all the time. Put that into Casey Mittelstadt 2 years ago and we've got a 1C today.
