Skinner played over 30 games with eichel in the last two seasons easily. He couldn't score that's why he got demoted from the line and the power play - lacaprup
If you can show me game by game line ups ill believe you. But my memory is saying Victor took his place almost instantly when he got here. While they tried to have Skinner score on other lines.

Says who?
Skinner could not score with Jack eichel the last 20 or 30 games they were together. Why do you think he got demoted from the line? |

Why on Earth would you have a picture of a champion with rings in any discussion with Jack eichel? |

What facts, Jeff Skinner's game.log clearly shows he played with Jack eichel over the last two seasons multiple times and could not score a goal |

I can't physically show them to you because you are a separate human being from me and I can't control what you look at. But we all know how to look up game logs and they clearly show Jeff Skinner and Jack eichel played on the same line multiple times over the last two seasons and Mister Jeff Skinner could not put the puck in the net |

I know were all mad at the guy for talking sh!t about our organization. I myself hated it.
But to call the guy a locker room cancer when pretty much every guy that has come in and out of that locker room through his tenure got along with him very well.
And Overrated? He carried a shell of a team for the better part of 6 seasons.
Some posters say he was the reason for Rein"fart"'s success.
I know he got Skimmer 40 goals.
But yeah he's overrated - DirtyDan
Jack's been the most exciting/talented hockey player in buffalo since hasek.
I do think there's a personally issue between him and others. Cancer is going to far. Why would the scrub that left for the habs mention it in the way out the door?
Who wouldnt benefit from playing wing with Jack?
Who ever is pretending he didnt make skimmer, sam, ek9 and pommer and everyone else better has a different agenda. He made risto better as well....

So, you're going to be totally flabbergasted when this team blows by 25th place and makes the playoffs?
And just for example Victor olofsson is clearly a better player this year without Jack eichel around him. So, there's one answer to your question. |

Skinner's had some good chances this year, he really needs to start cashing |

Max, Briere, and Vanek all more exciting.
Roy, Briere, and Drury all better Sabres.
edit: Ryan Miller more talented, exciting and better |

I'm beginning to believe with Paul Hamilton says about him. He's just never going to be a goal scorer again in this league |

I thought you brought up some good points. So did Dirty D. Me and 2 other posters were excited for the season.
Power +1. That's about it, it's been great so far.
Olofsson is evolving... as predicted.
It's only been 7 games , so I'd say " small sample size,"
Could be a couple answers to a question right?

No Doubt, but I've been consistent in my hatred of Jacko for at least 5 years now I'm tired of hearing about him.

I respect your opinion. Disagree, but respect it ☝️
Roy .... a better sabre than eichel?
What kind of value did we get in return? |

I really enjoy going to the Sabres games and watching him perform. He's unique... top 5 sabres All time IMO.
I'M tired of him and most of the ex Sabres.
Liked risto, like hagg and picks much better.
Skimmer is really snake bitten. He's a guy that could definitely get some confidence and start rolling again.
Probably somewhere else 🤔 |

Is there a team out there could use Skinner? If so, who is it? How much retained salary? We have a cap floor issue so retaining would not be a huge issue. Could use his spot to develop someone else. Maybe $3/year? |

Thank you SD.
I'm hoping we get a lot more than an Ott for a broken eichel.
Trades can be a difficult way to compare players worth, especially over different generations.
Still, 4 pieces which will probably include a cap dump... |

Hearing Vegas and Buffalo are getting close on an Eichel deal. Let's see if Anaheim re-engages.
Side note... Ducks moving Rakell to IR.

I have a suspicion that KA was in Mich to watch Brisson as part of the package from Vegas. There's just too much smoke, Vegas knows what Buffalo wants and perhaps they're getting creative on what pieces, but if it's a bad player cap dump, I hope KA gets a better return. If it's a Smith type guy where he has value at 2.5M retained, that's fine too because a guy like that can be flipped IF Buf starts to slip. |

This is a really good question. Seattle with jbotts and Francis seemed like a doable option. Keep borgen too.
3 million is probably the #.
Who would pay him more than 6 million
Who would want to retain more than 3 million.
Same teams that want eichel may want skimmer with a chunk retained and bad contract coming back.
Vegas
La
Chi
Colorado
Maybe Toronto with marner in return 🤞
Obviously more pieces involved |

6’. 185 lb C. 2020, 29th pick…
The gears are always turning. Brisson skates into pressure to deploy a gravitational pull on the opposition and has the good sense to either quickly dispatch of the puck to a teammate in space or processes his way through it one defender at a time. He's the best problem-solving forward in the draft not named Alexis Lafrienière. -EliteProspects 2020 NHL Draft Guide
If I am breaking down the trade into Adams “4 first round pieces”… I’m putting Brisson at 3….
1- top prospect.
Is he their top prospect? Probably not.
2 - unprotected 1st. It’ll still be in the 20s
3 - Brisson would slot here….
4 - something something….
I would hope Brisson would be a piece but not the central piece…
Edit… Brisson is the 4th ranked skater on this list. … I would take, the top one or two, plus Brisson, plus 1st (conditioned)?, plus celery?
