He didn't ask for a trade, his agent did. - Marwood
I think it was the Canucks giving his agent permission to explore options for a trade, not his agent asking for a trade, otherwise if Garland didn't want a trade he'd fire his agent for going behind his back like this.

Conor Garland’s season has been either terrible or brilliant. Mostly, he has been unlucky. But he’s happy winning in VAN and driving 3rd line.

Maybe we can ask what your thoughts are on this. - VANTEL

This is Garland publicly asking for a trade.
We can group his argument up with others like only one knot for all fishing needs and forwards playing with goalie sticks if it were not for regulations.

Funny how his agent is still employed huh? - Load Management
And you know all the details just like you pretended to about everything else in the discussion. It's funny looking at narrow minded people always building arguments purely on speculation.
I'll stick to my point that we only know PA went public and know little about what happened in private. With that being said, your already weak and silly narratives just got more ridiculous.

I was just reading Bear might not be coming to Vanc. He is being outpriced and that may lead to a big trade for a top 4 Dman. I would suggest Kuzmenko but I am afraid Petey's production would take a big hit.
Good game last night by our boys up there. They're on a bit of a roll now. - Load Management
They were outplayed 😆 except a minute into the second, after that they had a hard time getting out of the zone but capitalized on on the few chances they had.

You do realize it was the new agent that sought permission to talk to the other GM's right? I mean the facts are there practically tea bagging your thick skull and you are still clinging to your ignorance. It's quite impressive really.

Of course these are facts because you were there and know exactly what happened.
My thick skull considers there could have been other scenarios that lead to PA going public with the permission given to explore trades. Perhaps after trying and failing to trade Garland they were going to waive him or waive and send to the farm but decided to give them a shot at finding a NHL destination. But who am I to consider I don't know what happened when you have all the facts.

So he didn't fire his agent and get a new one that sought permission to facilitate a trade? Umm, OK. I'm not hopping on the short bus with you today. Enjoy the ride.

He fired his agent. That is the only fact we know. You are spinning speculative narratives on the rest like you always do.
