No, of course not, never thought the one called on Pouty was a penalty either. The right call was made tonight.

I haven’t seen the pouty one, but the radio broadcasters said he jumped into the check, so I could see how a ref might make that call.

It amazes me what the refs let go and then call a bunch of soft bullpoop.

Good on Gadzic for calling out the teams for flopping, it is like a soccer game out there.

It was the strangest penalty I have seen.

Not sure what a penalty is these days, been getting worse every year.

You guys need to get some shots through. Skinner looks like poop but you haven’t made him make a save (other than that bit of blocker from Hughes).

Turned it off, they aren't winning, they look like they're trying not to lose as opposed to trying to win. Go Diamondbacks!!

I mean, yes, but specifically he hate me. The total and utter nonsense he splashes on the page. I have no doubt he believes every word of it too. “I told you it was coming this year”… it’s always coming in the near future, and never does.

They were playing the Oilers, they aren't a very good defensive team, no matter what Friedman thinks

I think you guys over estimated your chances from the start. It took a season where four or five players will get votes on major awards, team shooting % was through the roof.

It was essentially the first taste of playoff hockey for most of the team. Let’s be honest, Ian Cole isn’t going to win you a round. They probably shouldn’t even have been in round two based on how poorly they played against Nashville most of the series.

The Oilers on the other hand have been here what, 3 of the past 4 years? Experience matters and if the Canucks can make the playoffs next season and beyond these same players will be better for their loss this year.

It will be interesting to see how they manage the off season, because I don’t think they will be nearly as good as this season next year, but we shall see.

Also, Miller was invisible the past two games, he should of been on your disappointment list. He had two chances to put the Oilers away and couldn’t impact the game.

Yup, a few players didn't show up. Hronek, Mikheyev, Pouty, Lafferty, Huggy...

I don't disagree with most of your post, as I think it was a 1 and done season, which I mentioned a ouple times throughout the season.
Miller gets a pass on the last 2 games, as he carried a very heavy load throughout the playoffs and season, I know Pouty is awful light, but that is extra weight that Miller had to carry on his back.

I think it comes down to experience. Miller has been there before, albeit in a supporting role, rather than the main course. I think they will be hard pressed to repeat the success they had this season next year, but when they do make it back to the playoffs those players who had less stellar performances will have a different outlook and approach. I think it would be a big mistake to move on from Pettersson/Hughes unless you were getting an equal player back, which would be very tough to do.

A Redneck Vasectomy

After their 11th child an Alabama couple decided that was enough, as they couldn't afford a larger bed. So the husband went to his veterinarian and told him that he and his cousin didn't want to have anymore children. The doctor told him that there was a procedure called a vasectomy but that it was expensive. A less costly alternative said the doctor is to get a cherry bomb, go home, light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the beer can to your ear and count to 10. The man said, I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me. Trust me said the doctor. So the man went home lit a cherry bomb put it in a beer can, held it to his ear and began to count 1....2....3....4....5 at which point he paused, placed the can between his legs and continued counting on his other hand.

This procedure also work in Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, West Virginia, Florida, and Alberta.

Don’t most countries prohibit convicted felons from crossing their borders? Going to be tough to do the job with an ankle monitor

The sweet potato nazi is following Hitler's rise to power. Hitler was found guilty of treason for attempting a right wing coup, but with a sympathetic judge, was sentenced to only five years in prison, of which he only served nine months, in which time he wrote the 1st volume of Mein Kampf. After release it was just eight years until he came to power and in the next 12 years in concentration camps killed:
6 million Jews
3.3 mil Soviet prisoners of war
1.8 mil non-Jewish Poles
half a mil Gypsies
over 300K Serbian civilians
300K people with disabilities living in institutions and care facilities including 10K children
10's of thousands of political opponents
and 10's of thousands of criminals, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Blacks and anyone else that didn't fit in to his plan.
Not to mention the 75 million that died in the war.

Trump won't live that long but the evil people behind the scenes will still be there.
