Well yeah, but I meant, The Conjuring is pure horror. Longlegs isn't. It's suspense with apparently no release. Kind of like if the basement scene from Zodiac was a whole movie.
- jugkope

huh, Longlegs is described as a horror/thriller movie everywhere I've read about it on the interwebz lol... I guess you don't consider it as part of the genre for some reason, that's cool.

The critics I've seen have been mentioning that it's horror like, as I said, Silence of the Lambs or Se7en are. I guess "horror" can work, but in the current world of either jumpscare feasts and gore, it can be difficult to categorize.

I think there was also a video about how a lot of critics were sensationalizing their reviews in the hope of being quoted on the poster or physical media box.

I'm guessing that can happen with literally any movie, as critics often can be found on both ends of the spectrum for the same flick... more balanced reviews could be considered as kind of bland to read as opposed to overhyping the (frank) out of it, or simply shredding it to pieces like some piece of garbage.

pro tip: try to wake up at 4:20 instead, smoke a joint, and then go back to bed.

That would be breaking the law. Getting caught would mean being expelled from the country. And Fredo hasn't promised me a job at the zoo yet, so not ready to leave here

went to a party. it was an outdoor thing but it wasn't really bad today and they had a big tarp over the patio and a fan literally screwed into the back of their house. so it was fine. had a nice blood orange ipa or three and a couple drinks they said were called palomas. seemed like a summertime drink. they were good.

grilled food and the whole summertime thing.

are the college games just the madden games with college teams?

i never played the college games. are the controls the same as the madden games? cause that would be a mess going back and forth between games if the controls are different.

Well this is the first college game since 14 and I haven't played madden since '20, so I don't know how the controllers have changed are different

wait, they stopped making the college games in 2014? i didn't even know that? why? it seemed like people bought them. i mean not as much as the madden games but i always heard people talking about them so i thought they were good sellers.

It was due to compensation for the players. They created real people in all but name (when college players weren't allowed to be paid "amateurism"), so players started to threaten lawsuits. EA decided to dip. Now with NIL deals player can get paid
