Benson, right now, maybe.

But he'd bring a lot to that 3rd line. Trade Greenway and Clifton/Joker and you're all set, even with our internal cap. Was just running through the list of non NMC players and he stood out.

Thank god nun of you are gms you are worst than the hick in charge!! Jinx 36 would have this team barren of players like TM

If you're referring to Quinn and peterka, you're just being a Debbie.

I think Krebs is the 3C opening night, and Kulich is probably plan B. They may have just drafted their long term guy. That's how much pressure KA feels.

One thing becoming clear by his moves is that he doesn't feel good about some of the current prospects and how he's drafted.

- Lunaion

He drafted top 9 wingers, ostlund and Konsta as middle 6 centers. He doesn't have a 3c ready yet. The pool is high end and diverse. Think you'd hope a guy from 22 was ready to step in though.

Is it that or is he just trying to spread out ELCs and save Pegs money? Honestly, if we don't spend to the cap, which it looks like we won't, I will really wonder. With the raises to JJP and Quinn coming, I think that's a long term consideration by Adams on Pegs behalf.

Wahlberg will be that guy in a year's time IMO. He's really jumped up the rankings quickly.

An unstoppable drive to lead a once mediocre franchise back to mediocrity, big fans of Niagara Falls, pity, the fall festival in Ellicottville, a bunch of other reasons

No one is really sliding at this point, just Helenius. Clock is ticking on that front now.

I still assume they are on an internal budget. I'd even go so far as to say that the coaches (including Donnie) are part of it.

Rochester's roster is taking shape. If none of the prospects make the NHL, Amerks could be:

Wahlberg-Kulich-Rosén
Murray-Jobst-Savoie
Kisakov/Nadeau-Ostlund-Neuchev
Slaggert-Kozak-Warren/Dunne

Novikov-Metsa
Ryan Johnson - Prow/Poolman
Rathbone/Clague -Komarov

OK, I preface my post with I'm a couple Bourbons in while on my last night in Bellagio, Italy before an early day of cars, trains, trains, trains and taxi to our next location in Italy on the Mediterranean...

I thought last week of Offer Sheeting Byfield since I knew Kevo's Hope's and Dreams would crash and burn in such magnificence that it would only compare to fireworks in a crazed state from too much alcohol. So here we are...

LA Kings are ~$10.8m under the Cap, with three RFA's to sign...Byfield, Kaliyev, Spence...with Evolving Hockey projecting those contracts at: 2x$3.1m, 2x1.8m, 2x$1.2m...so a total of $6.1m, which gives them lots of comfort being $4.1m under the Cap if all goes according to plan.

Well, let's F-up Rob Blake's day/month..
The O/S would need to be high enough so Blake takes the compensation package versus matching the O/S...which he would do unless crazy high.

Byfield is a 21 yo 6'5" 220 Centre with a 1C projection, who is now ascending after a couple of development years in LA under the tutelage of Anze Kopitar and Andre Kempe...playing 1LW. Good teachers of playing the game the right way. Safe to say he his primed to take the next step at C.

Buffalo could use a talent like him at C, and doesn't need to stress him on L1 nor L2...let him find his C game at 3C with Coach Li dy Ruff helping him along his trajectory as a bonafide 1C in a couple years.

So, the O/S needs to be painful yet lucrative for LA to bite on.

An O/S of 2 x $11,450,000 results in at '25-1st, '25-2nd, '25-3rd, '26-1st
An O/S of 2 x 11,500,00 results in 4 1sts...which is likely too much for this organization, maybe not though.?

After 2 years, when Skinners BO escalates, they can rework extension to more reasonable number.

Or, OR threaten Blake with the above and tell him they'll can have Krebs, Joker, B Prospect for Danault.

Time to stop wussy footing around Mr Nice Guy W 0 Guts.

You lost me at Bourbon in Italy. Shouldn't you be sipping on a nice Brunello or Chianti Classico?

Thought Kulich and Savoie can slide one more year?

That would be so (frank)ing pathetic. Every tidbit I get now, even if untrue, is just infuriating.

If you sign at 18, you can slide for 2 years, as a general rule. These guys are 20 now, so no more sliding.

Wahlberg can, guess that's a relevant one.

Hope that slide icon makes it into whatever replaces CF.

Thanks for explaining, I thought there was still a games count. I didn't even know CF had that tbh.

Well, less experience means less justification for a larger contract, but that does feel like a stretch.

When are we actually going to see any of these kids? I mean it isn't like Kulich or Rosen haven't put up enough points to justify a chance to make the roster. Ostlund needs more time and so does Wahlberg, but wouldn't mind getting their feet wet a bit. Whatchutink?

Slow development timeframe has always been a giant warning sign to me.

Kulich, Savoie, and Rosen should all be expected to contribute this season. It doesn't seem like they are planning on that. Raises questions.
