And then Korchinski si eleigible as 2nd year pro?

Well I could see a shuttle of the different Icehog defensive prospects into the parent club...that won't hurt our standings in the standings.

i don't know about second year pro, but he can go to the A because he is 20 years old, that i know.

Only if he signs his ELC, then he can't play college because he is a "pro"
- LAHawk

I don't think he is thrilled with the school part of college....

I know many here still are texting Demidov goodbye, but if that is any of you, it should be a consolation that most NHL teams feel Artie is the best defesneman prospect in the last two drafts...

You've got contacts with multiple NHL teams?
Artie the best d man since the Nemec/Jiricek/Korch draft?
Nice touch on the 'Bwah Vere

Not sure why everyone wants to see Kurashev on Bedards wing.
Beetuzzi - Bedard - Hall - seems like they could be a line that would drive posession and keep other teams pinned in their own end.
Give Reichel a shot on the 2nd line,if he can't make it work, then push Kurashev there.
Everyone seems to want Nazar in the AHL next season, I'd give him a chance to win a spot in the preseason,if he has trouble then send him to the AHL for 30-40 games.

I don't think anyone WANTS Nazar in the AHL next year. We are just reading the tea leaves that he's got only 3 games of NHL experience, only one full season of NCAA play, and they've signed so many forwards that they don't need him on the big club.

I think it would be great if he is on the team. It means he beat out some veteran players to do so.

Yeah, I think Bertuzzi is perfect with Bedsy, and I bet Kucherov starts with him until they change things up. TT is a pp addition but not sure how he fits in a first line role...he did play some centre at times last season. Hall also played some centre.

Hall is gonna need to get his legs back after the knee surgery.

I am not sure how they plan to pair these guys, and I think that becomes their homework, not mine.

My job is how I can secure RWPorter Matone, and Erie's LW Malcolm Spence, and Brantford's RC b]Jake O’Brien

I believe the rule is the player needs to turn 20 by Dec 31st.
You are right,Korch is now AHL eligible.
I'll go ahead and assume we'll see Oliver Moore and Rinzel there at the end of the season?

Yeah I know what you mean.
It just feels like some people think he "needs" to go the AHL to get experience. If a guy is ready for the big show no point in sending him to the AHL,it won't help his development

He was someone I hoped would be a FA and Chicago could take a look at in a few years
Seems like too much $$$ now,but with the cap increases it will probably look like a good deal in a few years

Looks like Blackwell signs with the Stars at league minimum.

I think the same. He spent too much time last year playing with grinders and trying to do too much on his own. He needs some time with other skilled players. When he got time with Bedard it was okay but that line was so focused down by the other team because of our lack of depth.

Please stop making excuses for him. He either produces or move on.

Man, I just listened to the Rick Ball interview on CHGO, that voice is great.

Hate to dance on Vosters grave, appreciate that he's young and working at it, but it will be very different experience this year.

Kane sure didn’t come out of junior with a reputation as a hard worker, he was a cocky kid who did some pretty immature things, put himself in questionable off ice situations and almost ruined his career before it really got started. Then he had an epiphany, put the shenanigans behind him, at least publicly, and became a model player and teammate who came to each new season much improved from the last.

My point about Eiserman is his goal scoring ability should have ensured a top five pick in the draft. His questionable work ethic and lack of an all round game shouldn’t have impacted his draft position as negatively as it did. I believe it was something about his character that sent up red flags. Hopefully he can figure out what caused his draft stock to plummet and go about his career to prove to other GMs they (frank)ed up.

- paulr

I think we're almost left with no conclusion based on Eiserman, the most prolific goal scorer ever to come outa the elite NTDP, going at #20 that organIzations are concerned about something off ice.

Not saying there is something nefarious but it's really hard to square a kid who's at least an average skater and isn't 5ft 5in going at #20. That's just too many clubs passing on the kid not to think it's something off the ice.
