Mozilla Focus.
It doesn't save anything when you close it, so you have to keep logging in, but it's perfect for sites like this. |

Brave. Just go into the settings and turn off all the crypto bullpoop.
It flies and no ads. One of the best ad blockers. Even works on YouTube.

Oh is that all.
I think if the Rangers ate a milly on that Trouba contract and threw in a draft pick that trade could turn out superbly. |

Really would be a shame if Hakanpaa doesn't end up playing for the Leafs. Was really looking forward to seeing that monster play for the Leafs. Gonna be tough to replace him with whatever is left in the scrap heap of UFAs. |

Can understand a guy in his situation signing with the Oilers for potentially the peak/last of the McDavid and Drai era. A bunch of guys did. - Zezel
As someone who does like the Oilers but does question their overall team chemistry, this could be good or it be disastrous.
The reason I'm on the fence about it is that Draisaitl is a very good player who has all too often found his success with McDavid and failed to carry his own line. Now he did a great job of this in 2019 with RNH and Yamamoto, but in subsequent years with the same players or Kane or Hyman w/ Yamamoto, or Hyman/RNH he has not had very good 5v5 success - mostly ending us as an even player without McDavid.
This year he looks to have Skinner and Arvidsson with him and really it allows the Oilers to stack two lines deep. We know what McDavid can do. I wonder if Draisaitl really does pick up the mantle and lead the team - or at least his own line - again as he did in 2019 or if that was his peak year.
There's also only so much to go around - like Arvidsson and Skinner are volume shooters - about 3-4 shots / game with a 10-15% shooting percentage (or better in their better years), as is Draisaitl (with a much better shooting percentage - closer to 20%). That's a lot of shots to be taking from the outside. I'm curious to see how this all shakes out.

Why would the Leafs strip the C from Snakevares when he has a year left on his contract? - mjones242
To make him waive his NTC? They should also keep "accidentally" misspelling his name on his jersey, "For the 30th goddamned time, my name is not Tavar-ASS!"

I'm also curious. The Oilers have McDavid and a lot more, but all the same it's tough to get back to a Stanley Cup Final. But they look pretty good to have a chance. |

Why would the Leafs strip the C from Snakevares when he has a year left on his contract? - mjones242
Because it's Matthews' team now whether the Leafs are trying to trade Tavares or not.
Just the same way the Rangers are trying to trade Trouba, the Leafs could be trying to trade Tavares.
At the end of the day, the team is what matters the most. If trading the captain makes the team better (it does), then that's what the team needs to do.
Like I've said many times before, teams like Anaheim can afford to add salary. If the Leafs retain 2 AAV, Anaheim retains 4.5, now Tavares only costs 4.5 AAV. Maybe a team in "win now mode" like Nashville wants him. Maybe he'd waive to play with O'Reilly and Stamkos again. Maybe they send us a couple depth players like Sissons and Glass to balance the salaries.
Leafs: Sissons (2.8 AAV) + Gudas (4 AAV) + Askarov, retain 2 AAV on Tavares
Anaheim: Retain 4.5 AAV on Tavares + Glass + Liljegren + Robertson
Nashville: Tavares @ 4.5 AAV, Cowan, 1st round pick
Everybody wins.
Sign Sprong @ 3.75 AAV, Clutterbuck @ 1 AAV, Bortuzzo @ 1 AAV, Tierney and Comtois @ 900K.
Sprong / Matthews / Marner
Knies / Domi / Nylander
McMann / Sissons / Jarnkrok
Comtois / Kampf / Clutterbuck
Tierney
Rielly / Tanev
OEL / Gudas
McCabe / Hakanpaa (Healthy?)
Benoit / Bortuzzo
Woll / Askarov / Stolarz / Murray |

They are literally trying to dump Trouba. No chance they get good value for him like Marner. Laf has been very mediocre this far.
Still could be good, but it's not enough for a 100 point player |

We nicknamed a guy we used to see walking around downtown Milton, Roope.
I bet Fake saw him a time or two. Older 6’4”-ish Scandinavian looking dude with really, REALLY tight short shorts, colourful shirts and flip flops. I think he was trolling downtown. Haven’t seen him this year. - Woderwick
LOL Yes I have seen him.
Usually red shorts I think?
LOL
I last saw him walking past lowes. |
