Benson did indeed fare quite well last season. Finished 2bd in his draft class, beating out picks 2 & 3.
Pretty, pretty good.

Plenty of things to beat the tar out of on the Sabres, Benson isn't one of them ... Hopefully, we see the same from Helenius... That would be amazing.

From my perspective, I'm factoring in Heavy the risk he busts out, and the fact CBJ is on record now not wanting to retain a lot. Two big negatives right off the bat. Acquisition cost then should reflect that.

If CBJ thinks they are getting a top player and retaining very little, then let them take on all that risk.

Greenway is probably an underpayment to some degree. Throw in a B prospect (just not "that one")
