No, that is just what you want to believe. YOu have a right to your opinion, but don't spew that's just the way it is, because you don't know any more than anyone else. - jd250
You're right, I don't know any more than anyone else. The issue is that some people, including you, ignore or can't understand the known facts.
Torts will be a great coach for Michkov, mark it down. - jd250
Tortorella hasn't been a great coach for any team or any player in over 20 years. We'll put this down in the column with all the other absurd predictions you've made.

There is definitely a narrative among Torts haters on this board that Torts will ruin Michkov, even though Artemi Panarin played pretty much every game in his two seasons in Columbus under Torts and had two great seasons.
I pay attention to what people say, but I pay more attention to what they do. Risto has improved greatly under Shaw, to a point where there was legitimate interest from other teams even with his current contract. Unfortunately he got hurt. My only point is at this point, the best thing for the Flyers to do is trade Risto and get out from under his contract, especially with the younger defenseman that seem ready to get a real NHL shot. - jd250
Name one team who had legitimate interest and the documentation to support it. Ristolainen did not improve at all as a player. He was put in a more conservative defensive system and moved to the 3rd pairing with less responsibility. He became more of a drain on the salary cap and continued to decline as a player. Only in your world is going from being a top 4 NHL defenseman who played in all situations, playing poorly except for really the PP, to the 3rd pairing and a role player, seen as improving.

Being moved to the third pair was a matter of circumstance. We all know that York/Sanheim, Seeler/Walker were clicking and Ristolainen played 31 games, including coming out of camp hurt. The devil is in the details.
What does Gauthier gain by saying nothing? Did the Flyers screw up? Well the weight certainly falls in the Flyers favor but now Gauthier has to be the player he's been built up to be. If Gauthier flops, the Flyers look less incompetent and Gauthier looks like a player who is hard to please or work with, which might follow him around his entire career, especially without giving an explanation as to why he wanted to leave the Flyers in the first place. You get drafted to a team, you should play for that team. This situation is still playing out. - roenick97
so you are "messaging" a poster who does not respond to you (most do not), what was it you said to me yesterday corky?

Elliot Friedman reported multiple teams were interested. Is he only reputable when you want him to be?

Yeah I’m just messing around - curious what the asking price is
if the reason for him not coming over is no playing time I’m not sure how that would be different in Nashville - anti-lame
He was great in the AHL regular season but from what I read poop the bed in the playoffs…. Not sure what they would want from Philly, but did see the asking price was another high end prospect.

He is a young guy, going to a foreign country, a different culture where everything is different. Anyone would need a support structure in that situation. To say he shouldn't need hand holding, is just not fair.
Are you seriously comparing traveling with going to a foreign country to live? - MJL
He was here for all of 3 weeks, it wasn't the whole season. He made his own decisions on where and how to live for that time. And he ain't some kid, he's 22 years old. Stop with this bs.

What known facts? All we have is the Flyers' side of things and what has been confirmed by sources. We have not heard from Cutter's side and most likely never will.

should the flyers have signed him as soon as his freshman year was over? yes or no?
