i don't think they had to pay to get in. but i remember the link to sign up said there was a "flat screen tv" and an xbox for prizes and then months followed of people asking where their prize was over and over. i wonder if they ever got them.

I hope so lol... especially if you're advertising bigger prizes like that, even if it was free to get in it's probably illegal to make such claims and then not follow through with them.

He has virtually a small base of subs, he was begging on twitter for some the other day. I suspect his ads are not paying off, given how many are blocked - I am sure advertisers know what is blocked and not.

Not sure where the revenue is, certainly not enough to sustain the site, let alone, make ends meet.

well I guess that depends on what the actual expenses are, i.e. the web domain itself + staff (bloggers and maybe 1 IT guy..?). it sure doesn't look like there's a whole lot of money going into it either lol.
