I hated that bar the Madison. Probably because it's all staircases, and I was falling down puking destroyed. I have nightmares

I have been at the Madison twice. Both times I was a total mess. Both times I got horribly lost - and it was, of course, before cell phones, so you just wander and wander and wander . . .

Oh baby, it was a great place to be on Saturday nights.

You could always count on seeing Wendel Clark, Al Strachan and a few others there.

Been there twice as well. Place is a poop show. Lose your buddies upon arrival.

My bars were on Richmond row in London.

Joe cools
Jim bobs
Tap house
Robbie hall
Barney’s

There’s more but I don’t even know what’s around there anymore.

Way back then I lived in the Queen West area and was goth - we had a goddamned routine. Monday was either the rest day or the Dance Cave, Tuesday was Sanctuary (our friend was DJ on Tuesday and Thursday), Wednesday was Catch-22, Thursday was Sanctuary, Friday was Death, Saturday was Sanctuary, Sunday was Limelight (Boom Boom Room for years, and then it shut down) . . . Of course some of those things were flexible based on whoever the girlfriends were and their level of influence. It was a blurry, blurry time.

Perhaps a bit before your time but I went to school in London way back when Hillbilly Willies was around. We also frequented the Ridout, the Shot, Barney's/The Ceeps, and G.T.'s. We never had school on Fridays so Thursday nights were usually a poop show at G.T.'s.

Not really sure what he thought was going to happen, but yeah, this is as good a chance as any to get into the regular rotation on any team, save for bottom feeders. He basically has to beat out McMann, possibly Holmberg, if Mirtbag's lineup is what's likely (and it looks accurate to me):

I wonder if Berube was the reason he signed. i read he had a chat with him.
but it doesnt make sense for him to hold out, this season is his best opportunity to grab a spot and run with it

Is this just the Toronto traffic? Another reason we like London better, my gf headed out at 6:20am and was at work in Komoka by 6:45am. Hell I even walked to Komoka on my birthday to meet up with her once she was done and it only took about 3 hours, it’s 16km. I got there early gosh darn it so I had to kill some time in their pub lol.

Fun time, $50. If you don't have the money you can owe me, it's okay.

Oh wow, traffic gets that bad there too huh? It’s been a long time since I’ve been there (played at Brass Monkey years ago). So is it just dense traffic or roadwork that just doesn’t handle a busy time well?

That's basically what we were drinking and I 100% agree with you.

I have discovered that I like gin in recent years - Fever Tree tonic water w/ gin & half a lime juiced . . .I admit it's been Aviation gin because according to my wife, Ryan Reynolds is my boyfriend. I have no idea if it's any good with other gin or not!

- Monkeypunk

Tanqueray 10, Hendricks and Collective Arts (whatever flavour) are my go to gins. I love gin, back to drinking it by the bottle in university with club soda (PC and cheap baby!) and a spritz of citrus.

Took me 45 minutes to do my 15 commute. Transpo is down and the highway has accidents both ways. East/West is (frank)ed so everyone is flooding all alternatives clogging North/West which is usually the access valve.

If he proves himself to be a solid point production guy then the leafs can let go of the far more expensive non-physical winger they got named Marner.

The Leafs need to drop him or Nylander, can’t continue building the second line with players who get paid like top line guys.

probably a bit of everything, gov workers are now back 3 days a week in the office, so that will add a lot of cars.

not much you can do...but add 2-3 hours of commuting time to your day
