True, but there are some brutal misses in there as well, including trades, signings, and drafting. Did his mistakes lesson the productivity of his successes?

Did the OEL's and Gudbranson's and Virtanen's and Holtby's hinder any successes he achieved in drafting? What about the non-signings of Tanev and Toffoli? How about the Adam Clendening for Gustav Forsling trade?

So much stink in his 8 seasons. I don't think you can just assess his tenure on the current core alone. Plus, what has the current core done? Win a division? That's a low bar to hit.
