Please please please I hope no opposing player tries to take out Michkov in an attempt to make a name for himself.

The FLyers invited an un-drafted player to camp from the Q named Ricolas Delsuareisr to protect him on the ice. Supposedly they have become fast friends according to the front office

Desnoyer has a very good opportunity to have a rebound this season. He will get to play with two skilled players. Hopefully he seizes the day and has a good game. Ill be on the road and wont get to watch.

Desnoyers is on the line with Luchanko and Michkov to provide defensive protection, i.e. make up for the defensive mistakes that are bound to happen. This is according to Lappy.

That's well thought out and genius. That's what you should be concerned about in a rookie scrimmage game. Defensive mistakes.

The flyers always try and put a square peg in a round hole. Isn’t JL supposed to be defensively responsible? Personally I would like to see the flyers have Desnoyers get some offensive confidence and not be so worried about covering defensively for his linemates.

Has that ever happeed in the NHL? (I am really asking, as my hockey memory is less than many here - not being snarky)

I would still like to know why he took such a startling and huge step backwards last season.

I'm sure the possibility is there. But none I can remember. I am just overly sensitive to it since the last really high pick we had never planned out due to injuries.

Didnt Jay Rosehill take out a leaf in a preseason game some years ago?

Who was the last 4th line or bottom pair defenseman the Flyers drafted and developed who turned into an everyday NHL player?

You guys are amazing. Do you ever stop.. So they want to put more of an experienced guy on the other side who is sound at both ends. Why is that now a problem? Do you complain about absolutely everything in life as well? In doing so about the Flyers, your credibility is crumbling. Give it a rest

He'll gain tons of confidence if he can keep up with Michkov and Luchanko. This is a make or break year for Desnoyers, so I for one am glad he is getting the chance to play with the Flyers top two forward prospects. Hockey's back baby!

And it would align with the Flyers recent streak of bad luck over the past decade or so. Not going to think about ... no no no .. away with the bad thoughts, only good thoughts.

I think you're amazing. Or not. Where did I say I had an issue putting a more experienced player on the line at?

The last thing I'm concerned about, based on your posting, is what you think about my credibility.

No idea. Lindblom maybe? But my question is why he went from 23 goals 21 assists in 65 games (with 4 NHL games in a call up) to 6 goals and 16 assists in 63 games the season after.

Yeah I get he was a 5th round pick but he was good enough to earn a spot on Canada's WJ team.

I was just curious if he was injured or what. That is a steep drop off for a guy I thought may have challenged for a 4th line spot going into last season.

Hunter McDonald stayed here all summer and worked out at the Flyers facility. He put on a whopping 20 pounds of muscle.

I wonder what Hunter’s stack is?

He was healthy. Didn’t play all that well from what I remember reading last season. Don’t think it was one thing in particular.

Will likely be another player who was hyped up to an extent who falls by the wayside. Can’t imagine coaching had anything to do with it.
