If he was being honest, mostly everything sucks in Flyerdom. I want to hear the truth. I want to hear that they are finally going to do the right thing. They don't know what that is. Seeing reality is not making a mountain out of a mole hill.

flyers have said they had a plan in place and he wasn't going to play. I disagree with that. Now did they relay that to Kolosov? if they didn't then I would be pissed as well.

Function is the key in the waiting room so is communication. Flyers seem to not be good at the communication part.

Fletcher’s mess is kind of an excuse but I get your rationing. They’ve worked in collaboration since Hextall, and they are all still here.

IMHO there isn’t actually that much of a mess left to clean up anyway. It’s the glaring lack of true talent, and poor amateur/pro talent evaluation.

I dont see anything there. If the Flyers had a guy knocking on the door Id say maybe theres a potential deal there to move someone but I dont see any forwards ready to make the jump yet.

Only thing I could see is maybe CBJ being interested in Ellis to get them above that cap floor. Dont know how appealling Ellis would be to them though as he does make 6.5 mill this season and then declines 1 mill each year until the contract ends so that might be too much money for CBJ to be paying a guy to just get over the cap. Perhaps if his contract waas more frontloaded it might be more appealing.

That wasnt the issue. If signing ASAP was the issue he would have immediately signed with ANH once traded. He didnt sign until the last game of the season and I highly doubt this kid is so petty and immature that hed refuse to play with a team for not signing him for the 1 game.
