I think there is a 100% chance the Leafs deal Jarnkrok or Kampf.

I think it will be Jarnkrok.

I struggle to see where he fits other than 4th line wing but they already have Dewar who is a cheaper version of him with less offence.

Berube wants an "identity line" and thats a vague description but I don't think he is a fit there. He has average speed, doesn't get involved physically, ect.

He is reliable and has a good shot, he has no identity whatsoever.

If I'm doing the math right, Matthews is the Leafs' 19th captain (note: that's for the team as the Toronto Maple Leafs, starting in the 1927-28 season).

Early days, but they have drafted their 1st line franchise C, their (you hope) 1st pairing franchise RHD and have some decent talent coming up with low risk contracts. They definitely feel like they are building for 2027 and not (frank)ing around with any of the fake hope poop other teams do.
