I read an interesting study where they asked many prison inmates about hypothetical situations, many of them could not comprehend what was asked.

No one was really shocked, it was pretty common knowledge with the "rumors" floating around for decades. Rumors are funny though, they always have a base of truth to start. The only thing missing is the final confirmation.

He may have had everything and could of laid low, but when the expiration date comes...it comes no matter what you do.

There is a dude around here, who was part of a biker gang in WI, who was the head of one such (went to max security himself).These guys, they don't seem so bad*. They can handle hypotheticals iotw. At least, the ones I have met. Probably a biased sample, since they have managed to get it together enough to go looking for a job.

(*Aside: Problem is, they get so used to the regimen of prison: the routine, and not having to work for a meal, that they almost want to go back. PO are absolute poops with way too much power. We have to know the offer at least has to be more than 3.475m per which he signed for 1 year...maybe he was told if he played well again after that extension they would pay such and such amount then backtracked? Maybe that's why it gotten this far.

The study wasn't FOR prisoners, it was done because prisoners are easy study groups.

I believe there was a cross study that was part of it that asked the same thing to people who were not prisoners, but I don't remember for sure.

There have been so many papers and studies done using hypothetical vs Real scenarios, the one I happen to see more recently related more towards narcissistic tendencies and lower IQ.

There's just some mushy brained people who feel if the job doesn't get done completely then it's not a big deal. Look how pathetic people are when they talk about the first time...it's about his ear. Someone lost their life and there are people out there that are focused on his ear, I don't care if he had no damage at all.

If someone gets caught in the school parking lot with all the tools, is it not a big deal because the kids weren't really in danger?

If someone powerful did want him dead, you don't think there could be more efficient ways? They can't jam the controls on his aircraft? Sabotage his car for it to swerve? And if actually going through this method, have it fail, with the net result being a rise in his polls and a greater likelihood of actually bringing about the outcome they are trying to prevent?
