haven't been paying attention all that much tbh, but like elsewhere the rents and prices for new properties have gone way up. didn't notice the "boom" all that much, as Gatineau is still a giant suburb with no real downtown area.

I mean, as far as living somewhere peaceful not too far from everything you need, it's perfectly fine. you don't live here for the nightlife that's for sure, but there's a few festivals here and there, some decent restaurants... it is what it is.

I kindly refused pretexting I had some othe stuff planned when in reality it was because I didn't want to make the trip to Kanata and back from Gatineau and have to deal with the god damn traffic.
I watched the game on TV instead.

I never watch his podcast with comedians or fighters (except for select few that I know and like).

Yep, perfect description ... nice place to live (nature, Parc de la Gatineau, some festivals) but look elsewhere for excitement.
