these young plyers probably mock the coach behind his back with the silly ass drills.

as someone said earlier, these guys work out all year. not like yesteryear.

Hayes is just collecting paychecks at this point. Laziest/softest big man in the entire NHL. In what way has the Pens roster improved? Pretty much the same guys as last year.

LaZy HaYes worked his ass off under Alain Vigneault his first season. He just has declined thereafter.

Drysdale at 196, if he can stay healthy, like to see what that does for his game.

There is a reason the player is now on his 6th team ... he's simply not that good, but worse plays a very lazy game.

Calling him lazy is a lazy take.

400 plus career points says otherwise as far as him being any good. Been a solid player over his career. Not great nor does he suck.

How did Risto get put in the same place as Patrick and Ellis?

I didn't say he sucks ... but he is not a 200 foot player, never was, never will be, and given he is not an offensive juggernaut, he really needs to be.

Anyone think Farabee could lead the team in goals this year?

Who would sit there and watch 33 minutes of that? It's easy for Ristolainen to figure that out. Just skate in a circle. He can handle that.

Guy is maddening, says the right stuff, wants to still play fast but work on how to score dirty goals as play gets tighter. Then the next sentence he says we have to learn how to finish, and we know he over uses the grinders, what does he expect.

The overwhelming majority of 5 on 5 goals scored, come from the danger areas of the ice. Around the net. He's a veteran coach of over 20 NHL seasons and he's now realizing that he should've put more emphasis on that last season. Took a summer of contemplation to figure that out.

Fantasy question.

15 team points only pool. Snake draft with 15th overall pick.

Keep 1 (or none)…

A. Keller in the 3rd round (45th pick)
B. Mittelstadt in the 12th round
C. Neither. Not enough value.

He said a lot of things -- Like it is my fault we could not score goals -- it is hard to score in OT with no offensive talent on the ice

he has no idea what PDO is -- I hate fancy stats but at least I know what it is

At no time did he mention his ball less comments after the Isle game taking the season

Also said he saw coots skate and was like oh poop -- also did not think his injury affected his play - threw coots under the bus IMO as well

Critiques rizzo and yorks skating then follows up that they finished, that is what I look for - Why comment on how they looked if not to publicly shame them?

To me, he is a snake oil salesman - nothing more nothing less
