Looking like a Green camp/preseason.

This is the complete opposite of how they ran the preseason last year. The Canucks came out of the gate screaming hot for once last season. Stumbled the seasons before with running AHL lines to the end. This is the most barren of NHL talent we've seen so far this season.

Here's hoping it doesnt matter once the real games start...

Cuts coming tomorrow. I'm guessing most of the guys playing tonight will be saying goodbye tomorrow. Give the prospects a taste of NHL action and hopefully it translates into motivation.

But I agree with you about pre-season prep. I would like to see the last two pre-season games with a roster that's at least 80% starting lineup, especially with questions in goal. This defence needs to be clicking from the get-go.

Tocchet on Miller yet to play in postseason: "He'll be in Friday. We've just kept him out to work on some stuff and he wanted to work on stuff on the ice and he felt it was better. He came in as our second best guy (testing) and we have other guys vying for a job."

Do they really? I'm betting the guys they picked up in the off-season are penciled in. So what jobs are really up for grabs? Goalie... 6th and 7th D-man? I don't think injury fill-ins should be considered jobs. That's too temporary. Temp work ain't a job.

A couple guys, sure, but it’s just lip service for the most part. Kinda like listening to Biden the past few months.

We had a great time at BC Place yesterday, watching the Canadian Women beat the France 48-24 it was a rematch of the Bronze medal game from the last World Cup, Ireland also beat New Zealand.

,,,it's temporary but a C job is open with Blue out. With Joshua also out, I think Raty is n for sure.

I really don't think Miller is out because of scrap rehearsals and to work on things off the ice other than a minor ailment of some sort.

Obviously. I think you might be replying to the wrong post unless you think they need to use a dozen AHLers to fill one center position in the preseason.

I chartered a Turbo Beaver float plane out of Dease Lake to fly into a very remote lake north of there to do some Moose and Caribou hunting. It was a Harbour Air unit. They had to clear a pass to get to the lake and I swear I could hear pontoons touching the scrub as we crested it. It was a thrill....

What wasnt a thrill is we got snowed in and had to wait almost another week for the plane to be able to make it in. Supplies were all exhausted. All the game had migrated out early so were got skunked and we had to live off of Lake Trout every day for a week.

#91, who I think might be Sprong, reminds me of Mason Raymond.
