I once told Ek in private message that I could clean up this site less than a month. It would involve handing out strikes and then permabans. I work from my home office and am self-employed, so I can take however much time I need to play whack-a-mole with alts and eventually they would tire out before I did.

However, this would likely mean that dozens of paid subscribers would be banned and Ek would lose that revenue, so you can guess where my suggestion went.

I used to be a moderator for a forum a lot bigger and busier than this one and it's not that hard to stomp out the (frank)ery if the staff actually tries. poop, Dozzer does a great job in this one forum, but some of the others (looking at you Buffalo) are dumpster fires of off-topic politics and trolling. I'd ban 2/3rds of the regulars in that group.

Some clowns just can't get it through their heads that this isn't Facebook.
