If Luchanko does make the roster then he better be in the lineup, keeping him and scratching him would be the worst.

That could create a pretty deep top 9 that could be interchanged in so many ways, but if they spread it out:

Tippett-Frost-Brink
Foerster-Couturier-Michkov
Farabee-Luchanko-Konecny

If the players are slumping or team is down, very easy to stack the top 6 with the players performing the best.

I would assume all the questions come down to the 4th line (Laughton, Poehling, Cates, Nic D)...none of those players should be top 9 if Jett is in lineup.

I honestly do think that this team will be able to score at a half decent pace. The problem will most likely be at the other end. As someone said earlier, could be lots of 5-4 games.

It has nothing to do with "fearing" them. I'm not sure why people think the game is won/lost before the game even begins.

That is good depth. Who is fearing the bottom 6 or in some cases the 2nd line of some of these top heavy teams? I'd be more confident if the Flyers had an actual 1C, which I believe would change a lot of things, but they don't.

So that Flyers depth NEEEDS to take advantage of their matchups and if they do there are a lot of teams that have absolute trash depth to go with their stellar top line.

If there's a lot of high scoring games, I believe the Flyers lose more than last year. I think they still need to continue to do what they did last year and improve their defensive team structure then take advantage of their scoring opportunities. If the PP can improve with the addition of Michkov and their PK, which i believe is the more important special teams aspect to winning, stays the same they can come out on top.
