New hard-nosed coach. G looks really good. D on paper looks like it will be top notch. Forwards are ridiculously good, even thinking about some of the prospects we just watched.

I agree with this. OEL seems an awful lot like Gardiner, Barrie, Klingberg etc... been there done that, never seems to work. Remember how fans reacted to L. Murphy back in the day? Leafs fans can't stand defensemen that can't play defence.

I haven’t seen enough to form an opinion about his preseason play but I thought he was very good in the playoffs.

Was reading that Leafs are using a different D-zone system where they are much more aggressive in pursuing the puck carrier. It requires to be much quicker in reading plays and moving.

Mitchy embarrassed the bench with his tantrum. If 34 was whining - good comment by Willy. But the tantrum was embarrassing. So was looking at the ref and yell/scream/crying mid play for a call.

Maybe you’re right eh! But at the same time he was a rock for Florida when they had injuries in their top 2 pairs and Audi played really well in playoffs - if Buds get Florida OEL it’s a beauty sign…if it’s the other OEL you’re right for sure man
