Also mentioned St. Louis numerous times as a model they are trying to follow when asked about drafting high and acquiring elite players.

So basically, the plan is to catch lighting in a bottle for one season and suck in perpetuity.

I don't care if they strike lightning in a bottle or because they good at their jobs.

Slow down, everyone has an opinion and while I agree that the thruple's opinion is all that matters as they have roster control of the team it doesn't mean they are correct. You aren't going to get everyone on this board to turn off their brains and agree with you.

Do you have issue with any of my other points?

As far as Jett not meeting the criteria and it just being my opinion, you really should read the blogs you are posting in.

this one is also concerning :

I'm not sure why but your argument reminds me of the lawyer from "The Verdict" (great movie). The facts aren't on his side but just keeps trying to get the witness to give up on the truth.

And no offense to bill as i enjoy his writing and knowledgeable he is with Flyers history.

But bill is going based of his feelings about how 2 develop kids, doesn't mean it's right or wrong.
The end of the day he is a fan like the rest of us and has his own opinion.

The nhl is changing so much, and so is player development. A quick example

Marty, roy, cujo, belfour, all play 65 to 72 games,
Now ppl are saying playing a goalie 60 games is overworking them.

Plus bill seems not to keen on trots.

If the line up potentially looks like this. Did someone say Nick D was still taking up a roster spot?

Nick D might be taking up cap space but he’s officially not holding back any of the kids.

If nd is in the NHL he is taking up an NHL roster slot

it is not hard to figure out

That isn’t what taking a roster spot is. Taking a roster spot is keeping a young player from playing, which Nick D isn’t doing. This has been long established since Riley Cote was a Flyer, hints the term “Cote suit”. You want young players playing. Not sitting in the pressbox.

Please stop with the false information. The only thing that is correct in the entire post is that FEMA needs more money for disaster aid. We've been through this before.

1. Migrant housing is totally separate than disaster aid and is funded separately. There is no mixing of funds.
2. The $750 is the immediate assistance cash payment for necessities while the rest of their claim is being processed. It is not the final payment.
3. The republicans vote against FEMA funding (this is easily fact checked) and then blame everyone but themselves.

There is enough tragedy going around right now besides dealing with the political falsehoods. There has been no mismanagement of FEMA and they are treating everyone equally with funds which they have been allocated and in the manner consistant with their charter.

If you want to be angry at someone, be angry at the right people.

Edit : This is crazy.
Turns out Trump actually diverted funds in 2018/2019 and there was no outrage.

Trump, however, did move money from FEMA as president: He diverted nearly $10 million in funding to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to use for detention programs in 2018. In 2019, his administration redirected millions more from the disaster fund to ICE, including $38 million in the middle of hurricane season.

In other news Philip Morris says cigarette smoking is awesome and it's so good for you!
