Zadorov: “We wanted to stay at the start…We tried to sort it out but there’s a point in negotiations when you check boxes and then a couple things didn’t go the way we wanted to, and [it] kind of felt a little bit disrespectful, too.”

Saw report by Zadarov on contract and his statements that he felt disrespected after agreed to big stuff and just details left.

Going to add this on the Zadarov contract negotiations with Canucks management they bungled it. They have done masterful jobs everywhere else.

But I guess they liked D-Petey so much coming in by end of ELC they wanted flexibility to trade Zadorov. Guess he felt slighted not getting a full NMC after taking less money and bolted to free agency. Now that’s their call on a long term plan and management does everything with purpose. So it didn’t work with Zadarov.

Too bad because we would have fitted him in with this roster and cap to play with Vinny D instead of Forbort. But then where does that leave D-Petey in years to come? Decisions have consequences.

Management does not act emotionally but with a plan and an emotional guy like Zadarov which is good on ice not so good for business results.

This Utah Chicago game is painfully boring 😵‍💫
- Shuswap Wap

Shouldn't even be a team in Utah. League needs to shrink by 2-4 teams.

There are easier ways to post on HB. Must be time consuming to type it with a typewriter, then scan it, then upload to a image host... and then post it on HB.

Just saw Kevin Weekes post that Shesterkin has rejected NYR's $88M/8 year offer. It would have been the highest goalie contract in NHL history.

Wonder if Suter is a little banged up or nursing an injury.

Pretty safe guess. Still, good chance for Räty to keep the door open.

I read a scouting report about a week ago from someone who was watching Canuck camp and they mentioned then that they would not be surprised to see Raty between Hog and Garland come opening night as Raty was "clicking" on that line more than Blueger and Suter were.

Whoever that was, kudos to him for being observant.

Looking at tickets for the Canucks Leafs game in Feb, upper bowl seats are around $400 a piece

Trying to decide whether to pay or just pick a different game around the same date

Different game. Gonna be a lot of Leafs fans there, who are utterly annoying.

Three...Canucks, Tigers and Phillies.

Tomorrow is even better with four...Tigers, Wings, Sharks and Seahawks.
