Facts are that the flyers are not signing a big FA this season or the next.

They recieved 2 salary dumps for 2 first round picks.

About the time they are ready to sign a big FA, only ellis will be taking up dead cap space

Nothing to complain about.

Ellis is a tradeable asset at some point. Probably could've been traded already if the Flyers wanted to.

Cal, RYJO contracts traded to the Flyers for assets. Buyouts clear roster spots. This is what you do when building for the future. That's kinda the point.
