personally I wish I was working 100% from home, and go to the office only for important meetings or when needed. in my case being on site literally has zero added value.

Same for me, I used to be 100% from home but they forced us to come back to the office twice a week. I need to be at work sometimes when I got specific hardware to use and debug but I can do 95%+ of my tasks from home no problem.

Good for your salary but not for your pension unless you commit to RRSP. Always depends how happy you are where you work at.

Yeah, the Zoo was a 4,5% contribution to the REER, here it's 9% so pretty big gain there. Plus I make more so I can contribute more if I chose. I have a decent amount that will come from fixed pension plans when I retire plus the money I have in RRSP.

I feel it's a good mix if I want to slow down or retire before 65 whitout all the penalties

We are at 3 days a week for most of our staff, my team is 2 days a month (they travel a lot) but I am at the office at least 2 days a week for meetings.

It's useless, makes these mornings way more chaotic with the kids and I'd rather be working from home everyday.

that's the positive take I try to remind myself, but then I think about how I was working full time from home not so long ago, so the frustration is still there lol.
