he's just been missing today but gramos is on at least day 2, i think! he usually makes fun of my football bets but he never showed up to do it this week.

we had a different name for those days down here but i can't remember what they called them.

there were called in-service days here. we still had to go but classes were half time so we got out noon-ish

the only reason we had to show up was to get the funding for number of class days

which kinda made no sense because there were days built for inclement weather days which in 13 years PS, i think we had 4. and 3 were due to the huge snowstorm of 67

i think a couple of years after i graduated, they changed it to days off for the students.

at the time it was one a month for us.

oh wow, we definitely didn't get a half day every month. i'd remember that cause i hated going to school. i went on co-op my senior year just for the half days of school. i didn't even have to, my work shifts didn't start until like 6pm.
