Of course they won’t fire the coach.
But this team doesn’t show up and are all over the ice.
Not normal going into year 3
Bob Hartley would be my choice - WaterBoy
It's year 3 but alot of new players. (for the all over the place) The not showing up is preocuping, the terrible execution and complete lack of puck possession in the offensive zone is allarming |

1: There's a new law project that will prevent these from happening soon.
2: My girlfriend actually invited them in once. They honestly made a very good case about what we needed to chance to improve our isolation and our heating system. Truthfully, we were very interested. They even gave us all the details about the different government incentives to act now.
But when we asked them to give us an estimate, they kept going on and on about needing to verify if we "qualified" for their financing program. At one point I stopped them saying I didn't need to qualify for anything as the way I was gonna pay them was my buisness, I just needed an estimate of the work so I could wrap my head around the project.
They didn't want to give us one right now because "that's not how we do things" and I told them I wouldn't do anything until I see a detailed estimate of the work they wanted to do.
We've never heard from them again.
These guys aren't in the isolation/heating buisness, they're in the financing buisness where they'll do the job, but it will end up costing you 35-50% more because you pay interests over a long period of time.
A complete scam, that's hidden behind actual work. - Scabeh
I knew there was a scam !
Anyway I did it myself long ago, after carefuly consulting my neighboor that knows (frank)ing everything contruction wise ( like really, I thank the non existing god we became friends) its not rocket science
There one maybe one month ago that got mad when he asked if he could go up there

whatever the issues are, my point is there's a lot of hockey left, I can't imagine we'll be seeing an effort like we saw last night the whole (frank)ing year. |

Lots to be concerned about with the Habs. The defence is young, injury prone(looking at you Guhle) and not improving from what i can tell. Still cant break the cycle in D zone and outshot massively pretty much every game. Outside of Suzuki, Caufield and Slaf(who's now hurt) the offence is very sporadic. Dach has had a tough time coming back after the promise heading into last season. But its still early.
In regards to goaltending, I continue to vocalize that I do NOT believe Montembeault or Primeau are the answer long term and we are biding our time until Fowler is ready and Dobes eventually comes up. There are cracks in the foundation and maybe the highly touted defensive prospects are not as great as we were hopeful/lead to believe. Or maybe its still just stupid early and things pan out better during the course of the season. But its smelling alot like last year all over again. |

I don't get why people who were not panicking last year and the year before would be panicking now.
it's basically the same team! the team is even younger now than it was a year ago!
would it be nice to see more improvements? absolutely. but like you say, still a lot of hockey to be played. |

Meh, I did not really care about win/loses this year before the season started.
It is not that they are losing, it is how they are losing. Some games where there is little effort is not something I expected (or wanted to see).
That is very concerning. |

to me it isn't a matter of effort, but rather poor execution. not saying there isn't anything concerning at all but there's lots of time to address the situation, we'll see.
