to me it isn't a matter of effort, but rather poor execution. not saying there isn't anything concerning at all but there's lots of time to address the situation, we'll see. - Pat1993
I have a gut feeling the players saw a verion of Marty they had not seen before, after last nights game. I think the teams "effort" factor goes up quite a few points from here on out.

I was reading today that celeri is very low in calories. some reports even say that its digestion consumes more than the food provides.

yeah, MSL has to shorten the leash if he wants to apply his "aggressive patience", but also has to consider that some guys like Hutson and Mailloux just got here, which is probably tricky at times.
anyway they seem to have a good group of guys, I don't think anyone on that team is complacent after that cluster(frank) against the rags, they all know they need to do better.
Lots to be concerned about with the Habs. The defence is young, injury prone(looking at you Guhle) and not improving from what i can tell. Still cant break the cycle in D zone and outshot massively pretty much every game. Outside of Suzuki, Caufield and Slaf(who's now hurt) the offence is very sporadic. Dach has had a tough time coming back after the promise heading into last season. But its still early.
In regards to goaltending, I continue to vocalize that I do NOT believe Montembeault or Primeau are the answer long term and we are biding our time until Fowler is ready and Dobes eventually comes up. There are cracks in the foundation and maybe the highly touted defensive prospects are not as great as we were hopeful/lead to believe. Or maybe its still just stupid early and things pan out better during the course of the season. But its smelling alot like last year all over again. - Habsolute009
Terrible D won’t help the goalies. Monty can be good enough if the team I. Front of him isn’t chasing the puck like peewees

looks like an elbow to the face to me. - Gramps28
nah, it was the shoulder. not blindsided either.
but the primary point of contact was the head. that should be enough to be ban worthy. but that's just me.
